My front-line role
I am the Labour County Councillor for the St Albans North division. The Your community section provides local service information, news, events, and contacts about the area.
I represent the interests of around 15,072 residents of the communities in St Albans North which includes the District wards of Batchwood and Marshalswick South. I am also a District Councillor for Batchwood ward where I have served for over 20 years.

My County Council responsibilities
I was first elected as a County Councillor in 1997 but stood down from the seat in 2005. I was then again elected in 2013 and currently sit on the Public Health and Localism Panel. I also have a particular interest in social care and special educational needs.
Qualified social worker working in the voluntary sector. Widow with four adult sons and one daughter.
